Inverter option ?

I looked online at the old spec sheet from 2011 when the boat was for sale and sold in Annapolis. That broker described an inverter that makes 12 volts (from 24v) for the electronics. Perhaps that was the (unspecified) reference in the more recent specs.
Or whomever made up the spec sheet was sloppy.

Yea, might be. I have found about 4 unused Newmars (i think that is the name) of those 120v to 12/24/32 volt converters. Sitting in the weirdest places with nothing hooked to them.

I cant figure out where I put mine either. Maybe it's not on the boat.
Exactly. Listed has having one. And I've lost it
Oh, well. Just another dumb-ass new boater according to FreeBird.

I made no such reference and I have, for the most part, tried to help. You just seem to be back on the path of placing blame on others which is not the best way to approach these things. Nothing personal.

Yall STOP it !!! I cant take it anymore. I'm laughing too much at this. I lose things all the time. Some things are hiding in the walls like those exhaust fans. I have yet to find one.

No kidding. I had to remove the stupid stairs from the aft deck that go into the salon to find the
blower / evap coil for the bunk room. And that only took me a week. Right before I decided that a Saws-All will work wonders on finding this hidden stuff.

guess I'll be putting a ton of hrs on the gen. Gen on has 15 hrs on it (well not counting the few I've put on it since I got the boat).
There goes the quite coves :) Damn yacht running his gen 24x7

The sound of the pitter patter of little pistons is the on the generator room is music, with a symphony of convience.

The croud that doesn't like the music, are likely drinking warm beer, sleeping in a hot bunk and on a rainy night get wet due to the open hatch.

Likely the same croud that left the AC on at home while away on the boat, the sprinkler set to go even in the rain and wouldn't drive a car with out AC. I just don't get it.

Really, you seem to read more into what I post then others. All I did was post that it was listed as having one. Manual says not one on board.
I ask question about if, and how much to put one in
Now, wtf are you reading me blaming someone? (that's WTF, as in where the Fk).
If this is your idea of trying to help. How about , don't bother, brother.

You have it all wrong.

It's the crowd that wont run the ac at home if they have a home. Never use ac in the car because it has not worked for years and cant stand the sound of a running engine because it reminds them of paying for fuel or maintenance.

Since it never gets hot in south Florida ill think I should take a walk down by the marinas in miami tonight and check out the nice neighbors.

Yes, he does have it all wrong. Oh well, you cant teach an old dog new tricks.

Randy is a good guy and was just having some fun with you. I can assure you he's not being a jerk and will always try to help you out. It may take a while but you'll learn the personalities of most here. Most are great people and all are just trying to help. And yes we've all been there before. If you keep your boat long enough there will come a day when a new member starts asking what seems like basic questions and you'll jump in and try to help him out. Often we forget that some don't know us yet and its near impossible to read someone's tone from a post or email. Welcome and enjoy both your new boat and this forum. As for your inverter, I think Eric may have answered that. The listing probably was referring to the Newmar units you have. I have several on board that are dedicated to specific equipment. Not quite an inverter system that will power your boat. If you had an inverter, your surveyor should have tested it and noted it in his report.
