Hatteras 36 WTB

We’re looking for our next boat. We’re leaning towards a mid-30s SF. In the past, I looked at Hatt 36s, and both times wound up with a Bertram 31 (great boats, but we want to go bigger). Maybe the third time is the charm. I’ve seen the ads on YachtWorld and Boatrader for 36s, but thought I’d post up here in case anybody knows of a good 36 that’s not on the more well known sites. I’m interested in boats that have been repowered, and have a strong preference for Cummins. Thanks.

Hi John, Did you see the Kathy L here? I had listed it here first, "Classic 36C", then gave it to a broker and he
put it on Yacht World? If you did see it I would appreciate any comments you may have regarding
the listing, pros and cons.

Beautiful boat. Listing looks good. If possible, I’d try to get a couple better pics of the Cummins. The repower, to me, is the best selling point. GLWS.

I have a 1984 Series II with Twin Cummins, Located in FL. Are you looking for the older series I or the later model?

I’m more interested in a Series 1 but I’ve been swapping PMs with a member here that’s more interested in a Series 2. I just texted him to let him know in case he hasn’t already seen this. That said, I’m not set on a series 1 if you want to PM of post some info. Thanks.

Hi. I have this 85 sport fish with twin 3208 TA’s with less than 3000 hours. I’ve had it 13 years and am the fourth owner..I’m in the BYC yacht club.

Thanks Sky. She is so a beautiful boat. Newest one on the west coast that I know of. North of the border that is. Very few in this neighborhood and it gets a lot of looks.. you guys know how to build a boat.
Here’s some pics,not many interior shots sorry,but she is just as clean inside as out. Just installed 4 blades Saturday.. 24 x 24 Down from the 26 x 26 originals.. Enjoy

We've owned the boat since 2009, always a strong runner a testament to the 5.9 Cummins. Low hours, NiBral props, cruises at 18kts, just hit 23kts WOT (21kts normal) after new bottom paint completed this May. The Flybridge was repainted in 2017 Imron matching the Hatteras white, hull repainted by previous owner. Its not a show boat, but well cared for. We are looking to move into a bigger Hatteras as opportunity arises.
