  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
61' COCKPIT MY (1981 - 1985)
Well, it's time to do this. A recent health change has made it wise to find a new home for a boat which has added a lot of joy to our lives. She's been a freshwater boat for the last 20 years and boathouse kept for the last 5. She's clean and orderly and as a recent boat show entry was able to snag first place. Since we were a cruising couple, my mantra with this boat has been to make her easily manageable for a crew of two. We picked this model because we wanted larger than a 58 yachtfish, more comfortable seakeeping to be added to walkaround decks, and multilevel boarding via cockpit area. It also meant that everything had to be organized and fully functional. She's very original and was a Lauderdale Lady Boat when she was born. This means that she's fully equipped with etched glass panels, a third helm on the aft deck, watermaker, electrical outlets in the cockpit, and lighter color laminate accents than you normally would see in this model. All carpet has been removed and replaced with parquet style flooring, The basics are:

She was originally built as a 61' cockpit Motoryacht in the Hatteras factory, with running gear in the proper place.
12v71 TI's with 500 hours since rebuild, starts up easily in winter weather without block heaters
8kw Westerbeke, 22kw Phasor and 2kw Pure Sine Wave Inverter electrical sources while underway
Village Watermaker, pickled but not recently tested.
Two Garmin Chartplotters, Icom AIS and VHF, Sitex autopilot, Icom SSB, Lower helm all in one windows computer with NOAA 2025 Charts on a full HD Display.
Added digital Meters for generators and inverters input, output and demand as well as charging capability via mains alternator while underway.
Boston Whaler 14 ft Super Sport with 30 hp 4 cycle Mercury, runs well.
All hull Zincs and engines zinc pencils recently changed
Within the last month, all impellers and fuel filters have been replaced.
She is ready to embark on a long trip in total comfort now.
All AC's cool well and reverse heat.
All headliners and wood near windows and ports are in great shape.
Windlass oil changed and windlass motor recently rebuilt.
NAIADS are fully serviced, through hull seals, hydraulic rams and hoses all replaced or rebuilt..
My price is 329k, about in the middle of similar Hatteras models. I'm hoping she will sell on a person to person basis due to her ready to go status so I don't need yacht brokerage assistance at this point in time.
I don't know what my uploading limits are on this site so please send inquiries for more pictures and info to sendithere@outlook.com and I'll provide whatever further information you'll require.
Boat is near New Orleans, LA and ready to see and ready to enjoy now.

Looks lovely, we are after a 60ft+ CPMY Hatteras, will PM you.

When was the most recent round of routine maintenance done (Impellers, racor filters, oil, etc.) and what kind of usage is she set up for?

All racor filters and impellers changed a couple months ago, thats 2 on a fuel manifold per engine and one racor 500 for each generator. I'm doing an oil change on all engines and transmissions this summer when the 40 weight delo 100 oil is easier to deal with.

We anchor out a lot along the northern gulf coast so we're set up for sandy and muddy bottoms. CQR 60, 50 ft chain on bow with 200 rope and secondary 10ft chain on 200 ft rope also in bow anchor locker for backup or windy days, Aluminum Fortress FX-37 Lunch anchor and 50 lb Danforth one as well if problems. Multiple type small anchors for dingy. Windlass has been recently rebuilt and pulls entire boat forward into the wind. chain lock for safety during rough days, rubber snubber as well and small orange round fender on a short cable to indicate where anchor line is for surprise visitors. inverter on 2, 4D's for quiet winters, small generator for mild spring anchorages and large generator for when it's hot. AIS linked to VHF for safety and quick contact in busy intracoastal or crowded anchorages. Latest NOAA charts on PC software guided by multi format GPS receiver on a full HD all in one PC to be sure I'm anchored where I think I am as a backup to two Garmin chartplotters with very recent bluechart chip and multi format garmin NEMA 2000 antenna.

Hope this helps. PM me if you have any other questions.
