I'll look when I get to my boat on Wednesday. I didn't realize there was a tie-in. I thought they were direct cables to the upper helm.

You are correct. After extensive wire tracing and doing a test on another boat like mine, I’ve determined that the CO2 pressure switch disables the starter relay and sends fire alarm to helm. Contacting the fire suppression inspector today to discuss.
