Re: woke up to boat listing...
Would some nylon air brake line work? I use it often for 175psi air delivery to vibrators and air cylinders at my concrete batch plant and at -45 temps. The only thing it hates is direct heat.

If you're only using the ice for fish any hose is okay. But if you're mixing drinks I'd suggest an FDA rated hose. McMaster-Carr sells reinforced polyurethane tubing in short lengths. www.mcmaster.com

Scrod,
That's a wild website. But did see the hose I need.
Have had several people here in Jax tell me about a place in town that has every hose ever made.... Least I now know it's 'out there".....

Re: woke up to boat listing...
I'd post a direct link to the product, but the website doesn't work that way. The drill-down is as follows: Under Fittings, Pipe, Tubing and Hose click on tubing scroll down the page and click on Braid-Reinforced (there's a picture) Then scroll down a bit to the Material heading and select polyurethane Then if you scroll down a bit there's a field where you select the I.D. of the tubing you require. Then in the upper right corner you should find a link that says "compare products" or "view catalog page" If you use compare products it will show you about three items that you can pick from.
It sounds more complicated than it is.... really. The biggest problem you probably ran into is that they call it "tubing" and we tend to think of it as "hose".
OTOH, if your local guy has it. That's good too.--- The poster formerly known as Scrod ---

Re: woke up to boat listing...
WOULD YOU BELIEVE..... a different section broke this afternoon !!! This time the saloon had a huge puddle when I got onboard....
Instead of being the section running from the brass tubing to the valve, it's the small section running from the valve to the icemaker... I replaced this piece about 5 months ago.
Fired off an email to mcmasters about 2 hrs ago. their site says I would get a reply within an hour.... . Told them I need 5' of 1/4" OD reinforced tubing for a ice maker. Still no reply from them....

Got a reply today from McMaster. The do not have a 1/4" OD reinforced hose. (told me to check out page 106 of their catalog).
