    Boat identification?

Okay, time for one of you eagle-eyed folks to identify the boat in this commercial:

    at a fast glance, I would say a 55C or 60C

If you pause it and zoom in, it looks to be a 55C to me.

Judging by the windows and flybridge windscreen, I would guess a mid 1980's 52C.

The side windows do look more like a 52C than a 55C. I think you win the prize. Tell him what he's won, Dan.

I bet you they picked the Hatteras because that is the image most people have of what a boat is "supposed" to look like, instead of the butt ass ugly boats everyone seems to be peddling nowadays. Just like the ugly ass cars, if you aren't close enough to one to read the badges, you can't hardly tell one make from the next. The Hatteras sportfish is instantly recognizable.

I'm also guessing 52c...the layouts are really close, but I see some subtle differences between this and my 55c. The transom gate, for instance, is slewed over more towards the centerline than mine. And I also second the window design looking more 52c than 55c.

That has got to be a 52C. It looks too short on the bow to be a 55C. the 55C has a substatntian ammount of room on the bow compared to a 52 and look how much space the dingy takes up on that boat.
