Looks like the original Par water pump, the one with brass housing is not pumping, just spins the shaft, is there a rubber impeller inside or something special ?
Finally found the exhaust fan , thanks again to the list experts !!!

Re: 43 dc 1979 F/W Pump
It probably has a rubber impeller by your description.Take the three screws off the cover and have a look. My boat originally had a beltdriven diaphram Par pump. Tony

Re: 43 dc 1979 F/W Pump
are you sure it's a PAR, with a brass housing ?
if it has screws on the cover then pull the cover to get to the impeller.
but usually you don't see the shaft on these... i thought hatteras mostly used galley maids ?Pascal

Yes, it's a Par with motor seperate from the pump body, pump body all bronze. Guess I have to bite the bullet and strip it out.
Tks

Re: 43 dc 1979 F/W Pump
Well,it is a Paragon, Par Junior, 1000 buck at West Mar, rebulid kit is 224
The impellors are actually teflon discs.
Way too expensive to maintain considering it pumps the same as a good flo jet for 125 brand new. 4.5 at 45 psi.
Thanks for help as usual.
