this was Naomi aka Sokeen's idea : can 3 bottle of champagne and a glass flute stay on the dink with me standing on the aft corner ?
not a drop spilled...
a short while later though, a lot of champagne was spilled in the water and all over mario and yaisy's 58YF during their naming ceremony...
I hope he posts some pics, it was a great party !!

Wait a minute! Bottles of champaign are empties. Full bottles would add just enough weight, etc., etc., etc.

Who's that handsome man!!??
Babe, you must advise Capt'n Bill that, had the bottles been full, they would have easily stayed on their base without tipping and I would not have thought of the brilliant idea of showing the Hober's stability.
Build 'em and they'll get sold!

We already knew the boat was stable. Jury's still out on the captain.

BTW, how are the Hober sales going? I can't wait until you get large enough to start building a retro 53 Hatt.

I got to tell ya that during the CDR this month the Hober was tied off our stern and was used several times as a boarding platform. I have a few linebacker look-a-likes for friends that stomped across one of the keels of the Hober and it looked very stable. unbelievable!
