    1978 42' Sportfish

    Hello all,

    Looking at buying a 1978 42' Sportfish. Any insight or things to look for????

    if its a hatt and hasnt been abused, its a good boat. i have a 77 46 sf, and couldnt be happier

    '78 Hatt 42.

    78 and 77 were the best years for the Hatt 42. Much nicer interior layout. As stated above, if it hasn't been abused, and the engines are OK, you can't go wrong.
