    Suprising numbers after bottom paint

The boat is a 1971 43 Dc with 6v92's. 500 HP. After new paint on bottom and running gear here are the numbers. No current, 15 knot wind off the forward quarter in the Chesapeake. Depth 35 ft.

    1750 rpm= 16 kt

    1900 rpm= 20 kt

    2350 wot= 24 kt

A little chine walk that disappears with the stabalizers at speeds over 17 kt.

Before the cleaning wot was 21 kt and 1900 rpm was 17 kt.

"that's hot" (Paris Hilton), actually flying in a 43'MY...would have to hold on for dear life! Must be an interesting sensation...

Great speed it sure is nice to really cruise then to putts at 8-10 kts. I believe we will all be cleaning/painting our bottoms more often since fuel prices went up.
