Thread: Sisters

    Sisters

I just returned back to our home port after a trip to Mackinaw Island in northern Lake Huron. While at the island, we met up with DLCameron. My boat is hull #759 and his is hull #760. We both figured that these two old girls have not been this close to each other since they left the factory floor in 1985. Here are the pictures:

    here is #759 by herself:

It was pretty cool to compare the two boats. And, of course, it was great to meet another HOF member. We had a great time.

That is an absolutely fantastic shot!!! Two very beautiful boats, in a fun Michigan harbor.

great pictures... that sailboat is good looking too !

incrdible to have two boats just one hull nr apart next to each other like that...

now, i got a question... are you both former sailors ? what's with being bow in :-) it's usually a sailboat thing down here :-)

    Re: Sisters

    Pascal,
In tidal areas, I find it easier to tie off with the bow out, but in the lakes, I usually go bow in. We enjoy the privacy of having the back deck open out to the water and not to the dock. The views from the salon and back deck are much nicer that way. From what I can tell, it seems to be fairly common up here.

And no, we're not sailors (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Sky on my last trip to Mac. Isl. in 1997 the harbor was rough due to the traffic, I heard they fixed this - is it true?
