There are so few marine stores left. My marina has only a few basics because there is no way to compete with WM. I tried to explain they only carry cheap stuff that is not useful for larger vessels but the owner ain't too bright.

I have had a small resale business from 2002 that started with video and audio equipment but has been known to guy and sell marine items too. I try to help my friends and neighbors when I can. I usually can beat WM prices in my sleep on anything but the large volume items they get like PFD's and small boat stuff.

Its just criminal to see the margins they expect when they can't even offer intelligent support at their stores
