    Shaft size 36C and correct flax packing

    I believe the shafts are 1.5". What's the correct packing size as I need to do this this weekend. I want to stick with keeping it simple and replace the flax with the most recommended product. Also need to know if how many rings of packing go under each nut?

    I'm 99% sure its 1/4" but my boat is in the Bahamas, I can't check to be sure. As for the packing go with the GFO, you'll love it.
