    I am looking to replace my Isinglass I have a 45C any idea of what the price would be.????????????

    I just had a new enclosure on my 46c Done by J&J in sommerset MA. Its called a barrett enclosure, Rigid type product ,very nice stuff.. cost about 8k.

    It depends...

    ..on what you use. The clearer, better forms of isinglass, like EZ2CY and so on, cost a lot more but last longer and stay clearer. Basically the dividing line seems to be between the rollable kind and the essentially rigid kind. If I were doing this (Blue Note doesn't have any clear enclosures, for better or worse) I would use the rigid kind. It costs more, and weighs more, but it last longer and is closer to optically clear. It is harder to store, though, because you can't roll it up, as I understand it.
