    1969 Hatteras 38' Tri-cabin For Sale

1969 Hatteras 38' Tri-cabin, completely rebuilt—more than $85,000 spent for upgrades. NEW: props, prop shafts, dripless shaft seals, exhaust hoses, bottom paint, Raritan ElectraSCAN purification system, two new, contemporary style, top of the line Jabsco toilets, 4 gallon salt tank with pump installed for fresh water useage, holding tank, Y-valve, and tank monitor; Raritan 20 gal. hot water tank w/heat exchanger, electric helm-operated windless 41' class, black plastic, redesigned helm with new tachometers, wood flooring in salon and both stairwells, Standard Horizon big screen, color GPS, Furino 4700 Echo Sounder fishfinder-depth finder, ICOM IC-M504 VHF radio, Cruz-Pro intelligent digital fuel gauges, canvas-Eisenglas on back deck, Danby dishwasher and Sanyo dishwasher built into galley cabinetry and starboard side. The master stateroom head was gutted and new cabinetry was built with a contemporary, sea-shell shaped sink and new faucets. An accumulator was installed for even water flow in both showers and automatic bilge pumps installed to eliminate need to turn them on when taking showers. New wiring and supplementary circuit breaker panels were installed, along with new florescent lights in stairwells and salon ceiling with switches at head of stairwells. The working central air-heating units were serviced by a Cruiseaire factory rep. The under 600 hour, 300 HP Chris Craft gas engines have been overhauled and the port side transmission has been rebuilt. AND, LAST BUT NOT LEAST, this Hatteras has geared down for the ETHANOL green generation with NEW ALUMINUM, COAST GUARD APPROVED tanks at a cost of $4200 for the tanks, plus about $2,000 for the installation. Save yourself many months and perhaps twice as much money in these upgrades (if your labor rate is $90 an hour or more). Ready to go in the California Delta, Stockton, CA at $85,499.
