    Ladder foot

    1979 43C. I need the rectangular base that secures the bridge ladder to the cockpit floor. The footprint is 2 3/4" X 1 1/2" and takes a 1" pipe(bridge ladder side rails). There are two set screws that secure the 1" pipe. Sam's does not have this size. Any ideas of an after-market or industrial source?

    Try a place that sells marine canvas, etc. Call Boat Cover Inc in Grasonville, MD- their number is 410 827 7474- they have a lot of this kind of hardware and may have what you need. If not, they can tell you where to get it, in all likelihood. Jack or Marty should be able to help you.
