motor mount for 8/71

Hello everybody

I am looking for rear motor mounts for 48 Yf with 8/71's with Allison M20
transmissions. They are mounts that have vulcanized rubber between the main vertical mounting plate that bolts to the stringer. Any help???

Did you call Sams Marine? If they don't have them, I'm sure they can tell you what is normally substituted for those.

We went through this same problem on Boss Lady.

The motor mounts run around 700.00 each.Yikes !!!!

I checked many, many shops and these mounts were and are hard to come by. I need to check my book, but did find one person who custom builds these things................same price range.

I will check with the person who now has our old engines. We replaced the 871's with 892 turbos'.

I know some of the mounts ( 3 ) were bad, but do not remember which ones.

Give me a day or so.

what about a set from sound down?? saw them at the ftL show, nice stuff, but I don't know about the $$

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. We had them rebuilt locally and you
right they are spendy.
