same hull for early and late 34

I am curious as to whether the basic hull remained unchanged when the early 60's Hatteras 34(sportfish model) was redesigned in the mid 60's(sportfish model). They sure appear to be the same hull below deck level. It would certainly have saved them a bunch of money back then to continue using the original hull mold and change just the deckhouse/fwd cabin/deck mold. The interior design seems to be practically identical. Does anyone out there know whether this is or is not the case?

YES IT IS!!! All 4 model are the same hull just lots of different decks.
