I recently had electricians aboard doing some work on my boat. I think that when they work working inside main helm (opening & closing helm station) that they somehow screwed up the seal inside the steering wheel box b/c I have had hydraulic fluid leaking out of front of steering wheel where goes through helm station. I went down and depressurized the hydraulic system which controls, and this remedied seepage. I ordered a seal kit from Steve (Sams) and am awaiting its arrival. Anything I should know when I start this replacement...anyone had a similar problem or replaced seals and remembers dos & don'ts of project or is it pretty straightforward? Thanks!

Re: Steering Wheel Seals - Hydraulic Leak
Yep - simple fix, and I doubt they did it, as it'd be pretty hard to do. Its just a coincidence.....
