Tubes/straws found in engine room, what are they for?

    34” long tube/straw?
    Wire run through each?
    Nipple on each?
    Fluid extraction? Which fluid?
    Why 2 of them? IMG_2197.jpgIMG_2196.jpgIMG_2199.jpg

They look like the tubes used to pump out oil.

I was thinking oil sample draw tubes.
I don't understand the wire in them unless re-purposed to snake some weep holes or lines.
