“Drive Temp” Indicator Illuminated on System Monitor panel

    “Drive Temp” keeps going off?

Can anyone direct me to the sensor?

    I don’t have a “Drive Temp” Gauge?

    Thx

If you have a ZF clutch, The temp sender is on the bottom left of the sump.
However, I'm afraid you are having a ghost Hatterass Monitor false alarm issue.

Where in FL are you hiding?

Drive temp means the gear. First thing to do with any alarm is verify whether it is real or a false alarm. If you you don’t have a temp gauge for your gears, check the gear oil temp with an IR gun. You could have a clogged gear cooler, a slipping clutch etc.

Les Henderson is a wizard with those system monitors he helped design and install them for Hatteras.

Check to see if the wire connections are tight on the temp switch. You can bypass the switch by connecting the wires together. If it still alarms, its not the switch. Then its probably broken solder runs on the 12pt monitor board. I have a board and temp switches if you need them.
