I would love to keep the opening windows, therefore I would have to go for the aluminium one.
I saw corrosion as well in the fixed ones and the windshields. Always sam's and/or boatwindows right?

The frames can be removed, media blasted, repaired and repainted. It may not be as bad as it looks and replacement might not be necessary.

Whoover, this sounds interesting!
Anyway now I have to "keep cool" and negotiate down to the last Euro / Dollar we are now at 55 thousand Euros....we should go further south...

If this goes as planned, then next winter I already know what to:
- window frames
- new waste holding tank (it has only grey waters, that makes no sense to me)
- new mattresses
- new 12 and 240 volts sockets
- dripless shaft seals
