My first SWAG; Line 1 & 2 are each of the 115Vac legs that make the 230Vac.

    Re: Electrical distribution panel question

I have the same setup and I tried everything in every position without anything changing. My gauges also show zero volts except for the incoming 240v. I haven’t opened the panel yet to see what’s what.

    Re: Electrical distribution panel question

Those are selectors are next to Amp guages. I always thought they were for each leg. Since in the picture 2 ships service/ panels are getting fed to that source the upper amp guage will be the total draw from both services. When loads get high in the summer, you can split the sources to serve the panels to keep the amps down.

I can not read if those are volt or amp meters next to the switches.
If those are amp meters next to the switches then carolinacoast is on it. Read Amps from each leg.

Should really say Leg 1 and Leg 2 as they are indeed as Ralph guessed. Those are reading the amp load on each 120v leg of the 240v input.
