While I have the drawings indicating all the 29 thru hull fittings for various systems, I do not have information about four thru hull transducers that are fitted. I know about two. The one near Port shaft is for depth sounder and one further forward on the Port side just aft of the hot water tank is for sea water temperature. But the two closer to the side of each engine I have no clue what are they for. I was able to trace the one on Starboard side and it is some sort of thinner black coax cable that is cut and goes nowhere. Any clues would be much appreciated.

Re: 1980 Hatteras 37 hull transducers
Lots of yards are too lazy to remove old X-ducers because just drilling a hole for a new one is easier. If the wire is cut it's just a drag inducer. I had to pull two dead ones out of my boat.

Make sure they’re not the ground plates

transducers probably wont be on your build plans, they probably were not standard on that boat, just owner added.
