The system automatically fills each cell to the right level, no indication or level check required. Each cell has it's own fill cap with an internal float valve. The caps are plumbed in a manifold configuration to a port where you attach a primer bulb style pump with a strainer on the end. You dump the strainer in a gallon of distilled/deionized water and pump away until the pump bulb gets firm, detach the pump and you are done.

You can set them up in all different kinds of configurations, but this is a fairly clear look as to how it would be installed. This is the best $400 I ever spent.

As a fellow fat guy, I also found filling up the battery banks in this boat is a b!tch. I have been on keto though and lost about 65lbs. Miraculously the batteries have gotten easier to fill LOL
