Tachometer transmitting unit for 58' 1976 Yacht Fischer

Power to the unit is normal but exit power to the sender is not.
Any suggestion on how to remedy the situation will be greatly appreciated.

I assume your typing about the tachometer sender on one of the main engines.
Question; is it mounted on the synchronizer box or on the engine?
Those senders are pretty solid devices, most times the mechanical tach cable is loose or failed. Next a bad wire or crimp.
IMO, to the bottom of the list is the sender has failed.

The transmiter has a square shaft thats plastic it may have snaped therefore it will not transmit the electrical signal. Unscrew the unit and take a look. Good luck I hope this helps.

    Problem solved!
By removing the Positive and Negative hookup from the sending unit and cleaning same with sandpaper solve the problem.
