    Some of us are cheapskates when it comes to buying a boat, but once we own it, we spend like drunken sailors.

    That ain't bad at all. I think people still see the value in these, I know I certainly did. There is no modern boat you can buy that has this kind of room and amenities in 53'. It's not even close. One of the best designs ever, IMHO.
