Radar with wifi to android to keep cost down?

It looks like Furuno might have a wifi radar that hooks to apple IOS, but not android.

Trying not to spend a fortune on a new combination package if I can help it.
I have been doing well with a slightly older garmin chartplotter on the upper deck and a large Android tablet running navionics at the lower helm.

Just wondering if anyone has found a radar system that will connect to an android?

I'm guessing there isn't much incentive for the name brand to do so as they would sell less chart plotters that way.

    Thanks!

Does it mirror from a chartplotter or directly from the radar?

    Simrad EVO 2.
I used my phone and received mirror images of the display connected to.
I understood from the owner but did not see it happen, a larger pad was to able to interact with a display, change settings from your tablet.

Why would you even bother. Furuno is the best radar. iOS is the best portable system. Buy a used ipad for $100.

Yeah, I was hoping to continue with android, but not that big a deal to get an Ipad.
I think I might give it a try.
