I've been drooling over this one for quite a while. Not in my price range.
I think it was a 61 that was extended. It's been for sale for I think at least a couple years.

No aft deck. Just a balcony. Yuck. Even with a cockpit.

We spend all our time when anchored on the aft deck.

I've noticed that boat has been for sale a long time. It's been noted as pending before, but has come back. Very nicely done interior mods. Nice veneer work, and 299k seems like a good price.

Yes exactly. Even as beautiful as that boat is, I think I would still take the aft deck of the 53 over that.
When under way, provided weather is nice, most people end up on the top deck.

When at the dock everyone is on the aft deck.

My Admiraal said after we sold our last boat that if I bought another boat it had to have galley up!!!

Interesting, I never caught the fact that the 58 LRC was still a walk around, on the regular 58 when they are galley up they are the extended cockpit model and you loose the walk around.

I'll have to study the layout

Interesting, I went to look these up, but these are not listed in the powerboat guide 2020 edition.

For any Hatteras, just look at the Model Brochures section at the top of this page

The 58 and 65 LRC models are galley up layouts as well. There´s an extended 65 LRC around at 70ft with extended cockpit. Would be my dream boat with that huge amount of living space and enough range to exchange continents occasionally...
