Is the 58 MY the only model that offered galley up in the salon?

I really like the galley up, open to the salon layout offered in the 58 MY, I saw one 70' (it had an extension, not sure what it started as) with a similar layout. I am thinking this may have been an owner mod?

Are there any other models that have the galley up open to the salon?

    Thanks,

I have seen a few 61’s that have opened the galley to the main saloon and it works really well

Problem with most if not all galley up is that the galley up comes at the expense of the aft deck. Either you end up with a balcony like the 54 or with zero ventilation on the aft deck like the 58 because of the wide salon and lack of wing door. The 58 MY is awful in summer as the aft deck is way too hot.

I hated the galley down on my 53 so I moved it up and aft. The smaller salon was a trade off i didn’t mind

Yes the 58's with the galley up don't have the side decks/wing doors, I keep forgetting that.

The ideal (for me): Side decks/wing doors, galley open to salon, still have the large aft deck like on the 53 MY with a cockpit. I don't think it exists LOL

Actually we had a 54ED, and it was galley down.

The 54 MY is galley down, kind of like a 53 but wide beam and with a nice big aft deck.
The 54 ED is galley up with the galley in the forward stbd corner of the salon and with a tiny balcony at the stern
