Replacing some cracked windows and frame felts on 1986 MY. Did first one and could not get the vertical pull off.
Used a very thin putty knife to try and cut sealant, but when I used it to pry the edge of the glass
chipped and I got another crack. So I forced it and looks like a PO attached it with full length bead
of silicone. The window removal and fuzzy and runner replacement was easy, by comparison.
Any tips to attack the next window’s pull handle (which is not already cracked)?

Re: Window Vertical Aluminum Pull Removal
What is the correct name of the extruded aluminum “pull handle” on the sliding windows? Does Sams carry this or know any supplier?

Heat gun is your best friend. I also used plastic door shims working my way around the outer frame to work them loose, as they had never been pulled on Pau Hana.
