Mine was built in Norway, but no different re the CG rules.
Can you do charters with a non-US built vessel if it's just six-pack charters? I think it's called uninspected passenger vessel?

One of the first big boat we serviced was a 44. Re-powered with 6-71s, she was a great boat. Till the aft fuel tank started leaking thru the hull. Yep, bottom of the tank is the hull skin.
Late 80s early 90s, a shop in Lantana Fl built a few. Sadly, did not keep going and folded.
I recall Derecktors tried to build a few also, along with some Roamer HB models.
Update, That old Lantana marina/yard has long been built over and Google Earth now shows an apartment/condos built on top. Next lot south of Murrelle marine.Last edited by Captain Ralph; 09-22-2022 at 04:38 PM.
