Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has insight on the original placement of the mast light on a 1988 48ft Convertible.
thanks

Sorry - I haven't figured out how to rotate the photos.

All-around anchor light or steaming light?
Looks like you already have a steaming light on the front of the bridge.
Most tower boats mount their all-around/anchor light on the underside of the tower control box.
Make sure you have a diode attached to the switch to turn off the all-around/anchor light when the running lights are on.
Or you could use a dual function light for both under the tower control box and eliminate the current bridge fixture..
Have had good success with this one:

or the Edson version without the pole

Well here is my OG anchor light. A replacement is on my short list, location TBD. I have updated my stemming running light on a mast on my brow. https://www.defender.com/product.jsp?id=2015649

Thanks for the reply!
Yes, I should have been clear for the all around anchor light. That's a clever idea! I was not excited about trying to mount one up top.
Very helpful.
Thanks!

Thank you! Was the original one in that same spot?
