Re: Beached MY
When you anchor in 6 foot of water and there is a 12 foot tide?

Re: Beached MY
A friend of mine was just at the Isle of Man TT races sent some pics of boats on the bottom like that. I remember seeing pictures of the bay of Fundy when I was a kid showing 40’ tides. Of course the boats are designed to sit on the bottom at low tide

Re: Beached MY
On the Bay of Fundy many of the docks have an excavated pool in the mud containing enough water to float their boat at low tide. Some really long dock lines!

Re: Beached MY
I just got back from the UK and the Thames river in London has a 20'+. It appeared many of the boats there leveraged the tide to do bottom work. No need for a travel lift....just make sure your work is done before the tide returns.
Best regards,

That's an Instagram account belonging to a diver based out of Seattle. Can't see that being the result of a tide, and isn't that another boat in the background?
Would definitely like to hear the story behind that one.Randy Register - Kingston, TN
