    24v stair / step lighting

    I have 12 or so original 24v step lights if anyone needs any.

    These are the metal fixtures that install into the plastic single gang boxes in the stair risers with screw in bulbs, and I have the stainless louvered trim plates as well.24V STEP LITE.jpg

    Those look almost identical to the originals. Thank you for the link.

    I wonder about the spec; 12 to 24V. I'm assuming AC or DC volt.
    A ACv transformer is mentioned in the ad.
    What happens when the alternator or charger puts out 28+ DCv?

    Quote from the ad;
    Must be powered by 12-24V low voltage transformer (not included).
    This means AVc..

    That is the current running experiment... they have been on for about 5 days, no issues yet.

    Will let you know if any of them burn out.

    The lights have now been on for over a week, continuously, and are all doing fine.... so far.
