Re: Yard issue
Thanks for the advice, and interest.
I have taken a bunch of measurements and I am at the boat every other day or so.
They have the travel lift operable again, so, if we end up needing to move it or anything it is now at least possible.
Much more nerve wracking when the lift was broken.
There is still the issue of the yard itself not really having anyone knowledgeable on site right now, so I haven’t yet actually changed anything.
The mechanics from the shop who have been there for 35yrs and do the shrinkwrapping etc have looked at it with me and believe it to be fine, currently.
We’ll see if further spring warming / melting changes that.
I might possibly add a couple of my own stands with plywood between theirs.Brett Portzer 1972 Hatteras 43DC331

Re: Yard issue
If it has 5 stands on each side that’s 2-3 more than it needs. It’s not going to fall over if you loosen one enough to get a piece of plywood under the base. If your worried about it Take a stand from the high side and temporarily move it to the low side with plywood under the base and work your way down. Then do the same thing one stand at a time on the high side.
