    Angry alternator needed

    Bad news !! I just spoke with my mechanic in NOLA and he told me his motor shop cant find the parts I need for an antique ('74 ) 32 volt external reg'd DELCO (?) alternator. :-( After- market 1 wire unit is 480 + tax WHEW !! Anyone have a spare laying around ? Needs to fit 12-71ns. Any input would be welcomed--I can pick up anywhere in the lower 48 this sunday. ws

    I have a 32 volt internal regulated alt. I will be away until 6/28. You can try my cell@ 727 420 5792 Dave

    Thanks Dave !! Although I ran out of time, I went and ordered a NEW unit at a real good price. Please try to call me at 630 388 8882-- I am leaving for NOLA at 3 a.m. tomorrow. I may still be interested. I may need to make a drive to Consumer Marine Liquidators in Ft Pierce next week. Mas Esperanza!! Bill
