The Harborside Inn in Old Harbor was pretty much totaled in a fire last night. Word is that the local volunteer fire department did an outstanding job of getting all the guests out safely and also containing the fire to just that building. I can't seem to be able to post pics from my phone or I'd put one up.

It looks like the volunteer fire department did a good job with their response!

I ate few doors down, at the National, 4 day ago. I believe almost every building on Water Street is built of wood. It could have been much worse.
