70' Hatteras 1271T, Looking for suggestions on a good and effective way to clean an extremely dirty fuel tanks. I have a fuel polishing system on board, however the gunk build up is too much and continues to clogged all our main fuel lines.

    Clogs up the fuel LINES?
What are you using for a pump or polish system?

Are you dealing with algae or something else in the tank?

You will need a professional fuel polishing service if you have serious issues. Once the tank(s) are cleaned, then you can maintain with your onboard system.

Here is a service I used in Connecticut that I was very happy with..... FYI... it's not cheap...

I bought my bought about 10 years ago. It had been repo'd and sitting for 4 years. The BEST advice I got was to have the fuel polished. Guy came out in a big filter truck (Miami) and cleaned the tanks and polished 800 gallons. I've never had a fuel issue. Best money you will ever spend.
