    Hynatic steering fluid

I am looking to purge and replace the fluid in my steering system. From what I have read the correct fluid is Hynautic fluid MIL-H-5606 spec. Does anyone know where to purchase this online?

Just FYI early systems used ATF that’s what’s in mine. It’s an inter web myth that ATF makes the steering harder to turn.

Hey...that's where I found the specialty 8" bulb for my old spotlight. The 28v aircraft bulb was as close to 32v as I could get. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/searc...landing%20bulb

But why pay $100/gallon when you can get the aviation fluid (which is the same stuff) for $65??

It's $35 a gallon. If the system leaks, it helps to be red. My wife once said, 'why is the boat bleeding?' Upper helm seal blew.

    Re: Hynatic steering fluid

Someone used ATF in ours prior to our purchase. I swapped it out and things were MUCH better. Use the correct fluid!
