I know it's a long shot, but does anyone happen to know where I might find a new or used 32V starter for my Onan.

I don't, but are there places that can rebuild them too? I thought I heard of that before.

Check with Fort Lauderdale Battery and Alternator. They stock and rebuild all sorts of starters. Pierre Narath

There’s no reason not to replace with a 24v. Many, including myself, have done it with fine results

Re: Looking for 32V starter for Onan MDL-4 20KW Generator
Onan parts are a crapshoot, almost every onan generator I've ever owned, half the parts on it were NLA. I hate that company. That said, it's a lot cheaper to have them rebuilt than buying a new one, plus you avoid the China problem which is where any new one would be coming from these days. The quality will probably be better on a rebuilt unit.
