Bottom paint and generator install is nearly complete on my 48 Long Range Cruiser at Ross Marine in Charleston. I would like to find a slip in the Charleston area for a couple of weeks to stage my trip from. I visited or contacted most of the marinas with no joy. Charleston Harbor wanted $1,748 for 2 weeks. Most of the others were not much better or had no availabilty. Anyone know of other options?

Re: Slip in Charleston
Try Isle of Palms or points south that are less popular.

You can try Tolers Cove marina in Mt Pleasant.

Re: Slip in Charleston
Seeing as how this one got bumped, try Skull Creek Marina in Hilton Head. It’s never been full when I’ve stayed there, and it’s less expensive than the other marinas in the area. You can fly in/out of the little (and I do mean little) airport there which is served by major carriers.

Re: Slip in Charleston
IOP in isle of palms has good rates and is a nice area.
But I know they are trying to redo the docks.
St Johns is ok, right down from Ross's.
