After 3 years searching we found a nice 53' here in Michigan and closed on it today.
It happened fast, a deal fell through on one I saw a few months back, ran to see it and closed the deal same day.
Now the fun begins with all the updates!
Happy Ours ???? might be the new name. Not sure yet.
The Admiral Nixed "Stabin Cabin", sheesh.

Welcome and enjoy!
I think with that kind of careful selection, you must have gotten exactly what you wanted.
The 53 is an excellent boat, for sure!

Re: Woo Hoo Finally found my Hatt!
It is in Onekama, Michigan on the west side of Michigan for the winter.
In the spring once the ice clears (when exactly we won't know until spring) we will bring her up and around under the Mackinaw Bridge and down through Lake Huron. We will keep her possibly in Port Huron, St. Clair, Mi, or down on Lake St. Clair. Our first choice would be MacRay Harbor on Lake St. Clair because of the nice facilities there and the possibility of indoor storage. Likely won't be able to do that though. The waiting list I found out has about 40 people on it and I was told indoor storage condo's rarely become available.
So we will likely take whatever becomes available in any of those 3 spots.
It will be about a 5 day trip to bring her around, Maybe Freebird will be available to show me the ropes??
