Pull into BBG to find my port will not go into reverse. After pumping the shifter a couple times it would engage but I would have to hold it in place to stay in reverse. The synchronizer has been erratic as well. I hear it engage and then the chefs look like they’re pulsating, without any load on it.

LMAO!! Maybe they mounted it upside, that could be a problem.

Best dives I've ever enjoyed were around there.
I'll be watching this thread as wrestle with my own controls/sync-related mystery. We're headed to Captiva and Boca Grande in the morning and I'm sure everything will work alright until I'm backing into a slip with people watching. At the mouth of the Caloosahatchee

Do you have full travel on the transmission shifter on the tranny meaning pin to pin? If it does not touch pin to pin when you use the controls at the helm you can have this happen. Can also burn up a tranny if not adjusted properly

Air in my hydraulic line was the culprit. 85lbs of pressure in the canister and bled the lines. 5 minutes, controls are perfect again.
