Six years ago, when I was actively working on restoring my 1972 58' Yachtfish, I removed the searchlight and gave it to L.B. Harvey to rebuild. Cost $1500 to rebuild. Receipt available. Yes, he is very expensive.
The searchlight stayed in my garage and was never installed. I no longer have the Hatteras.
I do not know the value today. I know that six years ago, the cost to replace was in the high thousands. That's why I had it rebuilt.
If you need one, make me an offer. If not, perhaps you can let me, and others reading the post, know the fair price.

looks like it may have been rebuilt as far as internal components, but not re-chromed. I would think it may be worth $1500 if re-chromed and maybe $1000 as is.
