Floscan 7500 tach/fuel/eng hrs multigauge needed

Anyone have a Floscan 7500 type gauge laying around?

Due to a failure of my Newmar DC/DC converter - my port side gauge got fried.

Checking to see if it can be repaired, but looking for other options just in case.

    Ralph,

I sent both gauges out to Joe D @ Floscan and he had his tech test them for me.

Both gauges do display tach and engine hours (which increase properly).

It's the fuel flow part of the gauges that were in question.

Joe says one is reading properly, the other is not.

Unfortunately, they aren't able to get the parts to fix this issue anymore.

So I can re-install them (which I will do for now) but have to figure out my options to replace the system or find one working gauge.

I was hoping maybe someone had a similar issue and decided to replace them. If I could find just one, I'd like to keep them. They are pretty specific to engine model/sensor type so while I've come across a few on eBay, non will work with my 236C senders (Detriots).

By the way, Joe has been awesome with support. We ran through dozens of tests before he finally said to send the gauges to him for n/c evaluation.

If I do replace the old system - I will stay with Floscan.

In diagnostic mode, you can see fuel flow on Both the senders. Can you see this?

Before I start diving into my notes, this is the 4 line display with NEMA input?
    Or exact model/part number?
I have/had some of these. I'm learning the hard way, lots was lost during our last moves.
Give me a hint for what I'm really looking for.

Re: Floscan 7500 tach/fuel/eng hrs multigauge needed

In diagnostic mode, both gauges showed flow from supply and return senders, but neither gauge was giving me a flow rate in normal mode.

When I swapped the port and starboard gauges, the port gauge did display fuel flow, but the starboard did not. So Joe suggested he test the gauges before we wasted a whole lot more time going down the wrong road. He found the the starboard gauge has a problem and will not register fuel use.

So I think I now may have two issues:

    1) the starboard gauge needs to be replaced
    2) the port side may have one bad (partially stuck) sender

This system is on a DD 471. The gauges model #: 53-02-SFTC.B47, kit no:7000-053-02.

Apparently they needed to be programmed by Floscan for 236C senders.

    Hope this helps

Just woke up to a weather line. When it stops raining, I'll head to my new micro shop. Fingers crossed.
Yes, the flow meters are set-up with it's displays for flow and temperature calibration.

I'm still searching for more but I did find a few items of interest.
I have some senders. I have to check them out but I'm sure they work.

    I have some multi displays.
I fear for gas engines though. Look at the back of yours and compare to these pictures. I think the diesel model may have an extra rotary switch.
Ask your contact at FloScan if a part in these can help fix yours.

    Ralph,

Thank you for looking. Let me know what you come up with and I'll call Joe to see if something might be of use to fix my gauges.
