The old, the concept and the new panel being installed today. Upgrade includes changing from twin 30 Amp 125v service to a single 50 Amp 250v that splits to 2 125v panels - one for the House and one for the Air Conditioning. Included in this is the addition of an isolation transformer. We're using "off the shelf" Blue Sea panels and will customize them and needed. Yes, the 30a Main breaker will be changed out to a 50a. More photos to follow, maybe.

Why didn't you upgrade to 50 amp. Cost would be the same but the extra power and contact surface is a big plus.
