Are both fuel tanks in a 1971 53 my of equal size and which tank does the generator draw from ? Only been able to find the total being 550. Thanks

Forward is 335 and rear is 215. Gen feed from forward only

On the later boats with 700 gal (total) capacity, are both tanks the same size? I assumed they were.

Thanks for the quick response. That’s a huge difference! I had heard there was a difference, but didn’t expect it to be that much.

    Re: Fuel Capacity

Depends on how you use the boat... 120 gallons difference is about 4 days of genset run time. We typically use as much fuel in the genset as in the mains
