    Burly Horns

    Although my horns work very well and still sound fabulous after 40 years, the Chrome has not. I was considering sending them back to Buell and have them re-built and re-chrome. Has anybody on this forum worked with them in the past and what are your findings?

    I sent mine in years ago and they came back fine. The diaphragms were sticking. They even looked polished or replated!

    I contacted Buell on their website about rebuilding a horn that I bought on here. 2 attempts. They never responded.

    I had mine refurbished by them a few years ago and they did an excellent job. Got the sounding unit and back plates re-plated and new trumpets installed. Was dealing with John. Very helpful.
