If Walbro pumps are no longer available, you could look in Jeg's or Summit Racing for one of those little Carter vane pumps. I have them on two classic cars for exactly this purpose. But Walbro may still be in business.

Walbro is alive and well. Here is a shop I found on the web a while back.
Sadly, the big black pump that we all know and luved is not available. This site has some replacement suggestions.

Most of the old pumps are serviceable.

I put one of these in my e-type to replace the unreliable original pump. Flows up 120gph

I have used a 24 volt pump on 32 volts as a prime pump only. I think as long as i'ts intermittent use it's OK. .....Pat

No big deal to run a pair of wire from the gen battery

Very quiet too. I tried others before including a Carter but you could hear it from the front seat
